SmartProperty has always been a favourite with Estate Agents who want to manage and maintain their own self service solutions for newspaper property pages. The current version of SmartProperty has now improved the user experience and maintains the simple and easy to use interface that has made SmartProperty so popular.

It has always had the reputation of being an extremely easy to use application when working at a local level with regional newspaper publishers. However, with more Estate Agent branches merging there is a need to ensure that information held by publishers can be moved without the need for re-entering data. I’m pleased to say that this has been achieved and SmartProperty now handles publishers’ needs from 20 to over 2,000 agents with ease.’

SmartProperty is currently in use by 4,000 Estate Agents’ branches with over 300,000 properties registered. On average there are 2,000 pages being produced every week through the Adobe InDesign renderers which create the AdStyles and production pages for SmartProperty.

The basic process is that Estate Agents work online via the SmartProperty browser client. They can import their own database of properties, work directly within SmartProperty to create and manage property details or just control their selection of properties with the local newspaper managing the workflow.

It’s this choice that provides the flexibility users appreciate so much. No additional software is needed for an Estate Agent to use SmartProperty. They need to have broadband access to the internet, be able to use Microsoft Internet Explorer and have Adobe Acrobat on their local workstation. That’s it.
